Research List

_____
Field Study
--------------------

[1] what kind of exhibition the company provide?

[2] what are the materials being use?

[3] are there any materials waste?

[4] wastes number/stat? (in production & ended-use)

[5] environmental concern? (of designer, client, etc)

[6] any reusable items or system? (in material wise)

[7] how the company constructs booth/kiosk/exhibit
(looking in engineering system & design perspective)
(any eco consider in constructing?)

[8] who are their clients? and what are the demand for their exhibit/kiosk?
+how are their envi concern? (research on this)

_____
Literature Review
--------------------

[1]
Architect Structure
~ simple design make a less impact

[2]
Collapsible Engineering (pros & cons)
(+) space saving
(+) cost saving -no need to spend on new inventory -reusable resources
(?) time saving
(-) stability | durability

[3]
Modular System (for product design)
~ good to focus on universal design for the flexibility and customizable
~ "modular designs are more easily repaired, and recycled"

[4]
Exhibition Component
:: chairs :: tables :: counters :: archway entrance :: carpet

[5]
Things to consider for building a booth/kiosk
:: structure/stability :: safety

[6]
Element to achieve 'sustainable design'
:: source efficiency (money, material, & time)
:: less environmental effect as possible (from wastes)
:: use recyclable -renewable -biodegradable materials
:: reduce material variety
:: minimize fastener
:: avoid toxic materials -PVC -polystyrene -lead -BPA
:: optimize manufacturing processes -low energy -paint types
:: "design for life after death"
::

[7]
What are 'wastes' produced from conducting an exhibition
:: materials -woods -metal
:: concrete?

[#]
:: create a list of sustainable materials (normally use in architecture)
:: add pros & cons

[#]
possibility adopting 'zero waste' ?!?
EPA; waste disposal operations to use landfills only as last resorts

Persona

_____
Persona
--------------------

A persona is a "fictional person who represents a major user group for your site." People who are some how connected to the research and will impact by my study.

To focus on 'target group' which are ppl who either (1) see the problem of garbage wastes from exhibition or (2) clients/users who is interested in going green

target market; stakeholders (client of company) who are having upcoming event ...willing to spend more money for eco-friendly wise... "in the bay area"

"sold in a region that has recycling facilities."

_____
MKTG
--------------------

"needs" of target market
